1851 C Gold Liberty Head One Dollar Coin- VF Details, Rare Charlotte Coin

Description

I am selling a rare 1851 C Liberty Head Gold Coin. Her bust is broadly outlined, with her facial features defined and every letter of "LIBERTY" visible on the headband. Some of the hairlines are defined and every one of the stars still show. All of the lettering can be read on the reverse, the wreath still has great detail and texture and the date and mintmark are clear. The reeding is boldly showing along the edge. The front of the coin has been cleaned/polished, there are a couple small marks near the right rim on the reverse as well as some other light marks. The coin is bent slightly. Still a very rare example from a scarce mint.
