Description
1969 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible TributeThis Tribute Road Runner started its life as a grandma’s driven 318 Satellite Convertible. The car had a complete ground up restoration in the late 1990’s. At that time the engine and transmission was replaced with a true 1969 383 and a 727 transmission . The engine was  rebuilt by a professional.  The 727 Torqueflite Transmission was also rebuilt and installed at the same time . The Road Runner has about 10,000 miles on it since the rebuild . Since it was grandma’s Satellite and rust free it took minor body work to restore it correctly . The typical Mopar issues were addressed and repaired at that time. Unfortunately they picked the factory color yellow. I bought the car knowing  someday I would change the color . Three years ago I had it repainted and gone through. I stayed true to the Factory Road Runner Features . I had it  professional painted by a Body Shop that specializes in Classic Cars restoration - Plum Crazy Purple . I have all the paper work for the paint job. It costed over ,000 to paint and address all that was needed to correctly complete the professional paint job and features to make a Road Runner. Feel free to contact with any questions .
