rolls of 4x6 Direct Thermal Labels. These 4" x 6" blank labels are for Zebra Eltron desktop printers using under 4" diameter rolls
Please note:
These NEW labels have no printing or markings and are freshly manufactured.
Direct rolls are for ribbon-less printers by Zebra Eltron, using labels wound out on a 1" core. There are 250 labels per roll. The  face stock has a  white surface for good contrast bar codes and text. The acrylic permanent pressure sensitive adhesive has a wide temperature range and good track for manual, application. The 4" wide by 6" long, die cut label spacing is a standard 1/8" between labels with 1/16" side trim.

Top-Coat
Direct thermal labels are convenient for short term use as in shipping. The surface imaging layer turns black from the heating elements in your printer as the stock passes over the platen [roller]. The label can also be affected by heat caused by friction from scratching or abrasion. Try rubbing a fingernail firmly and quickly on the label. It is also affected by UV over time as well as as chemicals that may ne present in some clear tapes.
DO NOT PLACE CLEAR TAPE ON LABEL.
Permanent labels are printed by a thermal
transfer
printer which requires a
ribbon
. We
recommend this process
If you use labels for products, shelf marking, etc. Costs are also lower when using
printers with a
1" ribbon core.  Color ribbons and stocks are then available.
