Description

Al Geiberger Mr 50 signed autograph card Vintage item
Signed unique item from the first player to shot 59 in an official event at the 1977 Danny Thomas Memphis Open.
Geiberger won the 1966 PGA Championship at Firestone CC holding off a 54 year old Sam Snead.
Called Skippy on tour because he snacked on peanut butter sandwiches during rounds
Harold “Jug” Mcspaden shot a 59 during a practice round for the Texas Open that was
Documented by the San Antonio Light newspaper. He was playing with Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson and Paul Runyan. Pretty good foursome. The round was in 1939 at Brackenridge Park GC many years before Geiberger, though it was at a tour event was not part of tournament.
Geiberger had one of the sweetest swings during the 1960s and 70s on tour.
