    Description

    This rare 1920s Dutch "American Blend" litho hinged tobacco tin, measuring 1/34" x 3 3/4" x 6", is in good condition with no rust or dents and some minor age related paint scratches and chips.  There is some plating missing from the interior lid is illustrated.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  This very attractive green, gold and black tin features gold lettering advertising  "American Brand" tobacco.  It was designed and manufactured by Wed J. Bekkers & Zoon, Dordrecht, Holland.  The company was a prestigious designer of many types of tins in Holland and Germany.
