    Rare Antique Minton’s Stroke on Trent Tile Zeus. Great majolica portrait tile from a rare series by Minton's China Works, Stoke on Trent, of Greek Gods. Here: "Zeus" (Mintons (Limited) China Works Pattern No. "2431, E"). Fully marked on back. Tile is in very good condition with the top left edge chipped. The crown has a couple of bumps missing glaze. I personally think the age of the piece combined with the patina make it even better. Please look at the photos carefully before bidding if you are expecting perfection.
