    Description

Vintage 1920s Saji tile from an Indian mythological scene. The beautiful colors include copper metallic areas behind the man and in the upper left corner. I believe this portion of the scene shows perhaps a servant fanning a god, goddess or other royalty.(wish I could find the entire scene).
This tile employs the tube lining process which results in a slightly raised outline of the objects.
The tile is a true work of art and could be framed.
It is crazed, but no edge chips. It is fully marked on the back: MADE IN JAPAN, TRADE MARK (with triangle trademark) and SAJI.
Measures 6” by 6” and almost 7/16” thick.
Packed with care to arrive safely.
