'Disney Originals' Donald Duck Pierced Earrings w/Crystal Colored Stones, NIB

He’s irascible, irritable, quick-tempered and testy, but there’s also the happy-go-lucky, inquisitive and - yes, occasionally - cheerful Donald Duck, first made famous in Walt Disney’s 1934 cartoon, “The Wise Little Hen.”   That’s the side you’ll see when you wear these lovely and colorful pierced earrings with crystal colored stones that were purchased at the New Century Jewelry Store on Main Street, Disneyland in the mid 90s.
The earrings which were made in Taiwan, measure approximately 1” high x 7/8” wide and weigh 5/8 ounces total.  The front and back of the earrings are gold-toned with blue stones over Donald’s eyes, clear stones for his face and yellow stones color his beak.  The hat, eyes and sailor’s ribbon are all cloisonné and no stones are missing.  These well-crafted earrings will bring a smile to all who see them and come complete with their “Disney Originals” Mickey Mouse-patterned jewelry box.
